Fans of Level 5’s cult classic Dark Force 2 will be happy to know that the title will be one of Sony’s next games being brought over to the PS4. The game is another one of Sony’s attempts to add older games to the PS4’s library.
Discussed on the PlayStation Blogcast, Dark Force 2 was originally released in Japan in 2002 as Dark Chronicle before being sent over to Western countries early in 2003. In America, however, the title was changed to Dark Cloud 2. Without spoiling too much, the game involves time travel, emperors attempting to take over the world, and interesting characterization between the two protagonists.
Sony has also confirmed The King of Fighters 2000 will be ported to the PS4, with rumors hinting that the original Max Payne will eventually be added in as well.
