Dark Souls III is the highly anticipated third installment in the Dark Souls franchise. The game, developed by Bandai Namco, has had some HD screenshots revealed.
The screenshots show off some of the new locations, armour, characters, and a new boss. They can be seen below.
Of note, the screenshots show off The Firelink Shrines. This is an area intended for new players, that will help them get on their feet. The new boss is known as Iudex Gundyr, and will wield a spear type weapon. You’ll encounter the boss after you are revived from the Untended Graves.
Dark Souls III will launch outside of Japan on April 12th, for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game will only be available for the PC via Steam.
