Dying Light developer Techland released a new video showcasing a new Nightmare mode that will be a part of the upcoming Enchanced Edition.

Nightmare mode not only increases enemy difficulty, but also adds XP penalties for dying, restricts overpowered Easter Egg weapons, and more. Players who survive the Nightmare difficulty mode will not only gain extra XP, but will have a greater chance of getting Gold Tier weapons.

According to Gamespot, producer Tymon Skektala says this is for players looking for a “really challenging and immersive experience.” It takes what was hard about hard mode (longer nights, limited HUD options, etc.) and “twists it even more.”

“We’re trying to bring the Dying Light experience closer and closer to the feeling of a real apocalypse survival experience,” Smektala said, “Where every move you make can really determine if you live or die.”

The Enhanced Edition will feature the core game plus The Following expansion which is set to be released on the same day, Feb. 9th. Techland also released a video that showcases the crazy car customization available in the upcoming expansion.

Dying Light: Enhanced Edition launches February 9, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
