The Friends cast will be reuniting on NBC this year.

As a two hour tribute to James Burrow, the cast will hopefully be in the same room at the same time. NBC Chief Robert Greenblatt told reporters, “I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time, I’m not sure we can logistically can pull it off,”

Although their is doubt whether they will all be gathered up at once, the focus of the special is on director James Burrow.

Burrow’s career is extensive, directing over 50 TV pilots. James Burrow also co-created Cheers, and directed some of the most influential comedies in the past few years. James Burrow directed Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, Friends, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Two and a Half Men, and The Big Bang Theory among others.
