In tandem with the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s first expansion, there’s now a trailer showing off the “Der Eisendrache” zombie mode map. Within the newest expansion titled “Awakening”, Treyarch have also listed the other maps within the expansion: Skyjacked, Rise, Splash and Gauntlet. Der Eisendrache is German for ‘The Iron Dragon’ and as shown in the above trailer, there’s a mechanical dragon that seems to have a big part of this little ‘story’.
The cast of characters this time around include: Nikolai Belinski, Edward Richtofen, Takeo Masaki and ‘Tank’ Dempsey. A rag tag elite soldiers that existed back in the old Zombie Origin days. Sent to quell this new zombie threat in what appears to be a ‘suicide mission’. This mission entails their onslaught through an enemy research facility as they come across more threats than just simple zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be getting its Awakening expansion sometime soon at a currently undisclosed time. The price point will be somewhere around the precedent $15 USD. Either that, or you can purchase the $50 DLC pass that gives owners the first three expansions for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
