PopCap Vancouver announced special rewards for the upcoming Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 that are only available to players who played the previous version of the shooter, Garden Warfare.
The rewards range from card packs like the ‘Helpful Fun Pack’ at Rank 10 and the ‘Wondrous Pack of Greatness’ at Rank 20 to a guaranteed Rare or Super Rare character unlock at Rank 50.
Those who hit Rank 313, the max level in the last game, get the Legendary Unicorn Chomper.
Players who log into the game with the same account that they used for Garden Warfare will receive the rewards mentioned above by going to the in-game mailbox and importing their game data from the first game. This will not only unlock the loyalty rewards, but it will also unlock any characters that players previously unlocked in the first Garden Warfare.
Here are the player loyalty rewards as detailed by EA:
- Rank 10 or higher: Receive a free Helpful Fun Pack.
- Rank 25 or higher: Receive a free Wondrous Pack of Greatness.
- Rank 50 or higher: Receive a free character unlock.
- Rank 100 or higher: Receive five Super Rare customization items with a ‘glowing’ effect added to them for good measure.
- Rank 313: Last but not least, players who reach will receive a 313 Max Pack that includes a legendary character–the Unicorn Chomper and Unicorn Warp ability. Because what’s not to love about a warping Chomper?
