The Escapists’ developer Team17 has announced a free map headed to the will be coming to the pixelated prison escape game very soon.
The map’s announcement arrives on the game’s one year anniversary as The Escapists originally launched February 13, 2015 on PC and Xbox One. A PS4 version followed that May and an Xbox 360 version released in December.
The new map “Paris Central Pen” will take players through the famous prison. It was inspired by the “La Santé Prison in Paris which was once home to the infamous Carlos The Jackel and was hailed as one of France’s most notorious and brutal prisons.”
The map will be available to PC users through a free Steam update on February 16th. Xbox One and PS4 users will get it “at a later date.”
