Daum Games, the publisher behind the upcoming MMO-RPG Black Desert Online, has released the game’s opening cinematic just before the game enters the final closed beta this weekend.
“Narrated by none other than YouTube star Tay Zonday,” the publisher wrote, “the video gives players insight into the fate of the Central City as the legendary and dangerous Elision stone is recovered.”
The closed beta runs from February 18th through February 22nd and players who have already pre-ordered the Explorer’s or Conqueror’s packages will automatically be entered in the beta. Players who haven’t pre-ordered and wanted to play the beta can sign up here.
A special in-game event will run during the beta. The “Bait Master Tour” tasks players with catching a rare Beltfish to earn a special title. There will also be an all new triathlon challenge. Rewards for both events will be added to the player’s account and will transfer over when the game launches.
Black Desert Online launches March 3, 2016 on PC.
