With a hefty update, Treyarch is looking to fix numerous issues, exploits, and balance problems through every mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Adding support for the Awakening DLC maps, the patch also balances specialists, fixes an exploit where players could move faster by sliding just before landing from a jump, fixes an issue where players could vote multiple times for maps, balanced XP earn rates across all modes, and even added more anti-cheat support.

The fine-tuning extends through the entire game. You can find the full patch notes here.

The patch is out now on PS4, along with the Awakening DLC. Xbox One and PC updates are in the works.

Last fall we thought Black Ops III was superb, saying “Overall, Call of Duty: Black Ops III is an excellent shooter. Even with the frustrations in matchmaking, constant updates, and level issues it’s easily the best shooter in the franchise. With an engrossing Campaign, a customizable Multiplayer, and an addictive Zombies mode, Treyarch has built the complete package delivering a game that’s bursting at the seams with value.”
