Hideo Kojima has been an important name in the video game community for a long time now. Since his leave from Konami, however, his name has popped up even more, mostly from his tour around the world and his determination to do great work with his own studio.

One of the most tragic things to come from Hideo Kojima’s leave from Konami was the cancellation of Silent Hills. The demo for the game, known as P.T.,  still haunts those who played through it. A certain ending of the short game revealed that the player was in control of Norman Reedus the whole time, who was supposed to portray the hero of Silent Hills. As a nice little stick-it to Konami, Kojima has reunited with Norman Reedus and posted a picture of them together on Twitter with the caption “Reunion with Norman Reedus. Giving update about my own company.”

Hideo Kojima also happens to be giving a keynote speech at the D.I.C.E Summit with Guillermo del Toro this week. Could all the pieces be coming back to place to make a spiritual successor to P.T. and Silent Hills?
