Killer Instinct’s latest character was just announced, Kim Wu.

Kim Wu debuted in Killer Instinct 2, and she pals around with a dragon. She also happens to be a martial artist and a graphic design student. Kim Wu uses nunchucks to defeat her opponents.

The character was announced by Iron Galaxy in a new video, paired along with notes for a balance update.

The rebalance was a decision made by Iron Galaxy in regards to how characters are played. They want to encourage players to be creative in their playstyles, setups, and combos. They explained that playing any character in Killer Instinct should be a way to express yourself.

The list of notes is quite extensive, and can all be found here. They did note this isn’t the final version of the patch notes, but they are getting pretty close. It’s all “subject to change”.
