Microsoft has been able to take full advantage of opening the Xbox One up to backwards compatibility, especially in promoting pre-orders for the latest titles. Now, if you pre-order Doom from the Xbox Store, you’ll receive the original Doom and Doom 2 as well.
While it doesn’t say how long the offer will last, it can’t hurt to pre-order it now and grab the codes now. When you pre-order Doom, you’ll receive a message in your Xbox message center with the two codes. Redeeming them will allow you to download the original Doom and Doom 2. The codes will be sent within 7-10 days of pre-ordering Doom.
Another pre-order bonus from Microsoft is the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which includes a Demon-themed armor set, six Hack Modules, six metallic paint colors, and three logo patterns to further customize weapons and armor.
Doom will release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 13th.
