The idea of Pokken Tournament is one Pokemon fans have been eagerly desiring for a long time. Now players can fully take control of the Pokemon of their choice in battle, rather than playing trainer and calling out the moves. That choice, however, may be more limited than they thought.

While DLC ideas is always on the mind of gamers when new titles are announced, especially those with specific rosters, it evidently is not on the mind of Pokken Tournament developers. The Pokemon Company has revealed that there is no planned DLC characters or stages for the game at this time. It is hard to say whether or not this means there is %100 guarantee that no DLC will be developed. Perhaps the success of the initial release plays a factor in their decision. Only time will tell.

Pokken Tournament will be released for Wii U on March 18th.
