Team Fortress 2 has been around for the better part of a decade, yet online matches are still going strong. With eSports becoming more massive every year, Valve has decided it is time to put this titan team shooter in the heart of competition.
Valve has begun its testing and transition to making Team Fortress 2 a fully competitive eSport. If you wish to go head first in this new level of battle sign up for the Competitive Beta that is beginning this week. Please note, not everyone who signs up will be given a pass right away as there are still many stages of testing. Those who have purchased Team Fortress 2 before it was made free-to-play on June 23rd, 2011, will have priority in receiving these passes for the beta.
