Street Fighter, and fighting games in general, have never been known for their long stories.
However, Producer Yoshinori Ono and Assistant Producer Tomoaki Ayano posted a video on PlayStation Asia’s YouTube Channel.
With the game having just released yesterday, Ono and Ayano want to make sure that people are aware updates are coming. With a June update already scheduled, we will be seeing a free story update that should take no more then one or two hours to complete.
The game has prologues already in it for the 16 launch characters, featuring animated stills.
The free campaign update will contain a story taking place between the third and fourth Street Fighter. It is set to launch in June.
Street Fighter V is out now, available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
