Not long after joining OtherSide Entertainment, Warren Spector was placed as studio director on the upcoming System Shock 3. Spector was the original director the original System Shock as well as various other titles including Deus Ex, Thief and Epic Mickey. Ever since his work on Epic Mickey 2, the legendary designer went to teach game design at the University of Texas.
The pull of game designing was too irresistible and as such, he returns to lend his hand on System Shock 3. Spector mentioned that “the opportunity to have a bigger role in bringing Underworld Ascendant to life, as well as playing in the System Shock universe once again” was just something he couldn’t say no to. Going on to mention that “Working on System Shock was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done in my career”.
At the current time, OtherSide Entertainment is currently working on Underworld Ascendant and System Shock 3. The latter has yet to receive a date nor a platform for the time being.
