Publisher Deep Silver has announced that Deadlight: Director’s Cut, a remastered version of the original, will release this June.
The Director’s Cut of the game will feature superior controls, new animations, and support for full 1080p resolution. This version of the title will also feature a brand new “Survival Arena” mode, which is being described as “one of the toughest zombie challenges yet.”
Deadlight originally released for PC and Xbox 360 in 2012. Set in 1986, Deadlight follows Randall Wayne, a lone survivor looking for his family in a world destroyed by a zombie outbreak. Players must navigate through the destroyed streets of Seattle as they search for the haven known as the “safe point.” Through tense platforming and deadly encounters with the undead, players must choose to either fight using limited ammunition, or utilize their surroundings to sneak past them and hide.
Deadlight: Director’s Cut will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will release on June 21st. The title will cost $19.99.
