eSports giants ESL and Intel are teaming up together to tackle the diversity issues found in the current scene.
Forming a new organization, AnyKey, the mission statement is as follows. “Our Mission is to help create fair and inclusive spaces in eSports for women and other underrepresented gamers.”
The website has additional information on stereotypes and out-dated models, which are holding the industry back in terms of diverse growth. Setting up a community that is intended to be a ‘safe space’ for those effected by diversity, they hope to keep the community harassment free.
