When The Division was first revealed, many of the initial promotions for the game showed players traveling to Brooklyn in the game’s New York City setting. However, more recent showings of the game revealed a lack of this location, leading many players to believe that this section of the game would be reserved for downloadable content in the future.
However, with the first copies of the game hitting customers today, it has since been revealed that the opening of the game and the tutorial take place in a small section of Brooklyn after all according to Eurogamer, reportedly taking place near the Brooklyn Bridge.
While the section is a relatively small section compared to the rest of the map, it remains a nice surprise for players who were expecting it to be completely left out.
