Ah, that sweet sense of familiarity.
A new image uploaded on the internet today has given strong evidence that the map used in Ubisoft’s recent release of Far Cry Primal may just be a slightly altered version of 2014’s Far Cry 4 map.
A comparison of the map’s from Primal and 4 were posted by Game Pressure, and can be seen below where the similarities between the shape of the two is almost undeniable.
Kotaku reports that a source confirmed to the gaming publication that Ubisoft did indeed use Far Cry 4’s map in the design of Far Cry Primal.
In our review of Far Cry Primal, we called it, “A good experience if you’re looking for a game to tide you over until your next big release, but unfortunately not worth the $60 price tag associated with a AAA title.”
