Announced during the latest Nintendo direct, Hyrule Warriors Legends on the Nintendo 3DS will be receiving lots more content. This content will not only be on the 3DS but also the original Wii U version. To incentives early adoption, there will be a season pass available for purchase. This season pass will allow players access to four DLC packs. On top of this, pass owners will also gain an extra costume for Ganondorf in his Wind Waker attire.
The season pass is to be released alongside the games release on March 25th. To further add to the early adoption purchase, Koei Tecmo is also offering a 3DS theme for pre-orders on the physical copy of Hyrule Warrior Legends.
While it was confirmed during the Nintendo Direct that Hyrule Warriors Legend will have a transfer code to allow players to transfer the new characters and weapons to the Wii U version, it still hasn’t confirmed whether or not the code can be purchased as standalone DLC. Furthermore, this code will only be available for the physical copy of Hyrule Warriors Legends.
Finally, it was announced that Medli, the Earth Temple sage from Wind Waker would be coming in as a playable character for free on both versions of Hyrule Warriors.
