Phil Spencer of Xbox has taken to Twitter, and this time he wants cross platform play.
Although Microsoft is currently migrating into PC gaming as well as remaining faithful to their console, Phil Spencer would like to see PlayStation and Xbox work with one another.
Spencer even talked about how he’d like to see Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the Xbox One. The suggestion of cross platform play has been around for awhile, with everyone able to relate to that horrible moment when your friends have the other console.
This has been one of the first times that an executive at PlayStation or Xbox has pushed for it, though. Spencer even told the Twitterverse that it’d be much better for developers, with longer lasting multiplayer.
