The third full expansion for Hearthstone, Whispers of the Old Gods, releases tomorrow. To celebrate, Blizzard is giving away packs from the new expansion for free.
Players will be able to get 13 free Whispers of the Old Gods packs in total. Simply logging onto Hearthstone after the expansion launches will net players three packs of cards from Whispers of the Old Gods.
Players will also receive a quest upon logging into the game to win two games in the new standard format. The format bans cards from the Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion and The Curse of Naxxramas adventure set. By winning both games players will receive five more packs. After completing the quest, you will receive another quest to win seven games in standard format. Completing the quest will grant you five more packs, bringing the total up to 13.
Hearthstone is available on PC, iOS, and Android. Whispers of the Old Gods releases tomorrow. It is the third full expansion, following Goblins vs. Gnomes and The Grand Tournament. You can see details for the new expansion here.
