Red Barrels, otherwise known as the developers of the successful Outlast is at it again with a strange video titled ‘Jude 1:14-15’. In it, you’ll see the image of an upside down cross and garbled words. Naturally, that’s queue to reverse the video. When you do, the words are more audible and you’ll hear:

“Children, you lovers of god and… defenders of his paradise, all our years of suffering come together now in this glorious day of peace—peace, even in the corrupt and filthy tongue of the Romans in the puritan city. On the fourth month and 22nd day of the 16th year of the 3rd millennium, our reckoning begins. The spider-eyed lamb waits at the… breach, hungry for this world. Ready your knives, for the good earth thirsts for blood, and we, like the angels, must show no mercy. God loves you.”

So April 22nd, 2016 seems like the date in which something related to Outlast 2 will be rearing its head at fans. It’s worth noting that April 22nd, 2015 was the date in which Outlast 2 was announced. However, the team had mentioned in the past that the game will be releasing in fall of 2016. This date may be when footage of the game will finally show.

By the way, for curious ARG goers, Jude 1:14-15 in the bible is this:

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Have at it as you will!
