Next week a live broadcast focusing on Persona 5 will be aired.

Atlus has announced that a livestream will be aired on NicoNico next week, and will focus on Persona 5. The stream will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET on May 5th, and will feature “all new information.” The event will premiere on the same day that a countdown clock based on the game is scheduled to end. The countdown clock has been featured on the game’s official website, and is counting down to the livestream.

Atlus has not mentioned what to expect from the stream, other than new information about Persona 5. The developer has not said when we can expect the game to release, other than a vague summer 2016 window.

Persona 5 will release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 during summer 2016. The game was first announced in 2013 with a cryptic teaser trailer. The game was originally set for a 2015 release, but was pushed back to 2016 during the Tokyo Game Show last year. This will be the first entry in the main series since 2008. Atlus has stated that the title will tell a story unlike previous entries in the series.
