After a few delays, Star Fox Zero is finally being released later this week. Fans haven’t had a console release from this franchise since Assault for the Gamecube in 2005. While it is exciting, it won’t be the only thing with the furry space team this week.
As if the title didn’t need any more hype, an animated short called Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins has been directed by Shigeru Miyamoto and made with help from WIT Studio and Production I.G. They have brought us such anime greats as Ghost in the Shell and Attack on Titan. The short will be streamed live by Nintendo on Wednesday April 20th at 3:00 pm PT. Don’t miss out on the great action to come.
Star Fox Zero will be available this Friday, April 22nd for the Wii U.
