Their are few fan bases quite as strong as the one surrounding the Dragon Ball Universe. Whether it is the television show, movies, toys, or even video games, this cult following gets stronger and stronger with time. Now fans have something new to look forward to.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has just been announced for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Like its predecessor, it will allow players to create their own avatar and gain power as you progress in the game. While not definite, it might be safe to assume that you will again be able to choose from a number of races, such as Saiyan or Namekian, and learn techniques from different masters. Developer Bandai Namco has stated that the fighter will “fully utilize the power of current generation gaming consoles and PCs.”

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the spectacular franchise. More details will come during this year’s E3.

I wonder if it will be as easily broken as the first.

Considering this title is announced fairly soon after the first, I would assume they are trying to do a wipe of all those complaints, rather than patch up the original.

It’ll be interesting to see where they take the plot. The original might have been broken but it was definitely fun to play, here’s hoping it’ll use the same core mechanics and control scheme.

          Cheers to that
