It has been announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2’s next major update, Trouble in Zombopolis: Part One, will be released this summer.
The free update will introduce a new Herbal Assault Map. It will also introduce the zombie’s capital city, Zombopolis, which will feature an all-new Mini-Boss Battle with a Mega Zombot. There will also be two new characters, Toxic Citron and Breakfast Brainz, as well as over 1200 new customization options.
“You’ll also notice the Boat Blast shooting gallery is back in the Backyard Battleground, along with leaderboards,” stated creative director Justin Weibe. “Lastly, there are also plenty of new character balancing and gameplay improvements, the details of which you can find below.”
He continues: “As always, thank you all for your feedback and support. It’s with your help that we continue to make this the biggest and best game possible, so please continue to send us your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.”
