Take-Two Interactive has revealed that developer Rockstar Games, the name behind titles such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, will reveal what they are working on “soon.”
The question now is – just how soon is “soon?”
“Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,” the company wrote in its financial report for the first quarter of its 2016 fiscal year.
Though no details were given at what any of these projects might be, it’s heavily speculated that Rockstar is hard at work on a sequel to Red Dead Redemption, after the studio previously referred to it as “a permanent franchise.”
Earlier this year, what many believed to be a map for Red Dead Redemption 2 was leaked and led many to believe the game could be a prequel to the original title.
