The developers behind Left 4 Dead and more recently, Evolve, are now looking into approaching a new IP according to a job listing for an animation programmer. The studio describes the project as an “unannounced, cutting edge game targeting next generation hardware”. The successful applicant would be tasked to help design and create unique characters for this new game.
This posting unofficially announces that the studio would be working on a brand new game. Not only that, but since it’s a new IP, it won’t be the rumored Left 4 Dead 3 or an Evolve 2.
Honestly, with not much information to go on, fans are still going to be in the dark when it comes to what to expect from the studio. One thing is for certain however, fans are praying that the next title will be as original as Left 4 Dead and not as much of a bloated money sink like Evolve ended up becoming.
