It’s actually happening.
Sony announced during their E3 2016 press conference that remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash 3: Warped are coming to PS4.
No official release date or window or details were given and no footage was shown.
It was added that Crash is also headed to Skylanders this fall in the new Skylanders: Imaginators game.
It was indicated that the remastered versions of the games would not arrive prior to the release of Skylanders, so a 2017 release for these updated versions of the beloved PlayStation 1 classics seem likely.
