Sony had a lot to show off this E3, including new titles like Days Gone.
The new game plays as a third person survival shooter, pitting you in the middle of what appears to be a zombie apocalypse. The game will take place in an open world, allowing players to explore and presumably gather what they need.
Days Gone takes place two years after a global pandemic, which has turned most of the population into “Freakers”. (No, seriously, they just look like zombies)
The main character, Deacon St. John, is a former bounty hunter that players will take control of during their adventures. He prefers to stay on the road post-apocalypse, rather then settling in one of the wilderness encampments.
The gameplay demo shows off Deacon St. John getting himself into a bit of a sticky wicket, with Freakers surrounding him from all sides before panning out.
Already looking promising, Days Gone uses Unreal Engine 4 to showcase all of those beautiful graphics.
