A new trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been released, and it shows off a new mode for the game entitled Breach.
Breach is a free mode that has players take on the role of a Ripper, a type of hacker. Players are looking to uncover the digital secrets of shady corporations in the year 2029. The mode will utilize the game’s core action and stealth combat as players attempt to hack the corporation’s servers by taking out the low-polygon representations of security protocols in a 3D environment.
Completing missions will unlock a number rewards, such as experience, credits, and booster packs that allow players to increase the firepower and capabilities of their avatar. Objectives that players can take on include Data Extraction, Enemy Elimination, and Fragment Collection. The mode will also include auxiliary options, which includes score tracking that lets players go up against fellow hackers, and modifiers that can adjust the difficulty of a job. Breach mode will be included in Mankind Divided when the game launches, and updates for the mode will be released over time.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will release on August 23rd. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
