If you’ve ever played Final Fantasy before you will be most likely be acquainted with these feathered companions. But to those who aren’t, a Chocobo is basically a giant chicken that you can ride in the FF universe.
Yesterday Square Enix released a new FFXV gameplay video as a special gift to fans. The trailer showcases the fluffy creatures sprinting over the expansive environments in Final Fantasy XV such as a dessert and some grassland. It even includes the new version of the iconic Chocobo theme song.
In the trailer you can see Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus riding the Chocobos and also using them in combat with deadly efficiency. At the end of the trailer a quick thank you message appears from the community team and encourages you to follow them on Twitter.
After years of waiting, Final Fantasy XV is set to release September 30 on PS4 and Xbox One. Are you excited for the next Final Fantasy game?
