Playdead announced the release date for their next title, Inside, at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Inside will release on June 29th for Xbox One, and on July 7th on PC. It was also announced that the studio’s previous title, Limbo, will be free on the Xbox One from June 13th through June 20th. PC gamers will be to pick up the title for free on Steam from June 21st through June 22nd.

First revealed at E3 in 2014, Playdead’s next title shares many similarities to Limbo in vision and style. The game is about a young boy who struggles against an evil organization that is bent on world domination through questionable experiments on human bodies. The game touches on themes such as life and death, isolation and uncertainty, and light and dark.
