2K has released a new trailer for Mafia III showing off new vehicles and guns available to those who pre-order the game.
The DLC, called The Family Kick-Back pack, includes:
- Three exclusive cars – Lassiter Leopard, Smith Moray MX100, and Berkley Stallion.
- Three exclusive weapons – Gator Shotgun, Camo Sniper, and Trench 1938 Submachine Gun.
“Building a criminal empire takes muscle and firepower. As the new boss in town, your new family is showing their loyalty with territory Kick-Back gifts,” states the trailer’s description.
In other Mafia III news, lead writer Bill Harms explained in an interview how the game’s underbosses might behave. If neglected, the underbosses could betray the main protagonist, Lincoln Clay. The game has three underbosses include Cassandra, the leader of the Haitian gang; Thomas Burke, a member of the Irish mob; and Vito Scaletta, the protagonist from Mafia II.
Mafia III, developed by 2K Czech and Hangar 13, is the follow-up to the series’ 2010 predecessor. The game will take place in a fictionalized version of New Orleans in 1968. Players will assume the role as Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran seeking vengeance against the Italian mob.
Mafia III launches on October 7th. The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
