For 5 years, the team at Volition have been working on the Saints Row games religiously. Now, the team have decided to try their hand on a new IP with ‘Agents of Mayhem’. Agents of Mayhem is an Open World, third-person, single player game that is set in the Saints Row universe. Made apparent by the familiar Saints Row icon at the end of the trailer. The game follows the exploits of the various members of Agents of Mayhem, the trailer introduces three: Fortune, Hardtack and Hollywood.
The three are part of the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds or “MAYHEM” will go up against the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations or “LEGION” for short. Yeah, the acronyms might not be 100% correct, but it’s the thought that counts.
Agents of Mayhem is slated for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The current listing release date is December 29th of this year, whether or not that is a placeholder date will be apparent in the coming days.
