Ubisoft is celebrating 30 years of developing and publishing this year and they’re celebrating it with all of us by giving players free games over the course of the year.
The Ubisoft Club service is offering a total of seven free PC digital games from now until December. The first game that Ubisoft is offering is the classic Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Once the game has been downloaded it is yours to keep forever. Prince of Persia will only be available for a limited duration however, so time is of the essence. In order to redeem this offer you will need a valid Uplay account.
The 2003 Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is the first game in the rebooted series and follows the Prince as he retells the story of his adventures with the army of his father Shahraman as they visit the Sultan of Azad. The sands of time are released which turns everyone except the Prince, the Vizier and Princess Farah into monsters of sand. The Prince must then travel into the depths of the palace to find the hourglass and prevent the sands from devouring the world.
The next free game has not been announced but it will be available in July.
