Looking to give you as much freedom and control as possible, Ghost Recon Wildlands will include a full character customization system, along with the ability to mix and match gear and gun pieces.

Ubisoft revealed the features at Gamescom saying, “Allowing the players to create a Ghost that reflects their playstyle is a key element of the gameplay in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.”

Using the charactersmith, players can customize a character’s face, gender, hair, hat, top, tattoos, pants, and shoes. In a post on the game’s website, Ubisoft even goes as far as to promise “more than a billion possible combinations.” Players will unlock additional equipment through completing missions and can equip it at any time.

As for guns, Ghost Recon Wildlands boasts more than 50 customizable weapons with over 100 different attachments, these ranging from add-ons like scopes and magazines to more fundamental pieces like stocks and barrels. “The game doesn’t impose any choice of classes, and you can adapt your playstyle according to your missions. For example, you can use your sniper to stealthily attack a camp by night, then attack a convoy with a machine gun,” Ubisoft says.

Back at E3, Ubisoft showed off an entire mission from the new game. Ghost Recon Wildlands releases March 7, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
