If you are a competitive gamer, then Overwatch has most likely been your life for the past couple of months. Since ranked matches were finally introduced in late June, players have been putting their skills to the test and trying to get their ranks as high as possible. Whether you had the right skills, a good team, or just tried your best, everyone will be getting a little something later this month, for being part of the online fun.

While it hasn’t been very long, Season 1 of competitive play for Overwatch will be coming to a close on August 17th at 5:00 pm PT. All players who at least competed in their placement matches will receive the Season 1 icon and spray. Those who ranked in the Top 500 for their respective consoles will receive an additional icon and animated spray Competitive Points will also be rewarded to all players. The amount depends on their highest skill rate. These rewards are as follows:

  • SR 0-39: 10 CPs
  • SR 40-45: 20 CPs
  • SR 46-49: 40 CPs
  • SR 50-52: 60 CPs
  • SR 53-55: 80 CPs
  • SR 56-59: 120 CPs
  • SR 60-64: 200 CPs
  • SR 65+: 300 CPs

Don’t want Season 1 of Overwatch to end? Think you could have done better? Have no fear, Season 2 is scheduled to begin on September 6th. Blizzard has stated that this is subject to change, but either way it shouldn’t be too long of a wait.
