If you’re missing Pokemon GO’s battery saver option that was removed in the game’s latest update, the game’s developer has good news for you.

Developer Niantic Labs has confirmed via Facebook that while the feature was originally removed due to bugs, they plan to return it soon after fan feedback.

“We had removed this feature as several users were experiencing it to be buggy, but we are fairly confident that a fix for this should roll out within the next several days,” the post reads.

The battery saver app was an essential part to many who play the game, as it reduces the effect the game has on the phone’s power.

They go onto reveal that the game will head to Central and South America in time for the Olympics.

“We are excited to officially be putting Pokémon GO in the hands of our Latin American fans, visitors, and the athletes in Rio!”

Finally, the developer confirms that they are working hard to squash the numerous bugs fans have encountered while playing.

“We have been working long hours to fix many other bugs and bring some exciting new features to Pokémon GO in the future. However, next up for us is the continued roll-out of Pokémon GO to more countries around the world.”
