Nintendo and the Pokémon Company have released the latest details for Pokémon Sun and Moon including a camera-snapping feature and new creatures.

The trailer showcases a functionality of the player’s Rotom Dex called the Poké Finder. In certain spots, it allows players to take pictures of the Pokémon they find. The pictures you take will be evaluated, and as you take better pictures, additional upgrades like a zoom ability can be acquired. This feature most likely pays homage to the photography-style gameplay of Nintendo 64’s Pokémon Snap.

A couple of brand-new creatures were also revealed in the latest trailer. “Type: Null” is a normal-type with the ability Battle Armor, which prevents enemies from landing critical hits. “Jangmo-o” is a dragon-type with the ability Bulletproof/Soundproof. In previous installments, bulletproof protected against ball and bomb-style moves, while soundproof aided against sound-based moves.

A new organization known as the Aether Foundation were introduced, who work in the Alola region and conducts various research projects. The Aether Foundation conducts research on Ultra Beasts, which are creatures that possess mighty powers and pose a threat to humans and Pokémon. UB-01 is an Ultra Beast that was shown that has a body composed of a glass-like substance.
Lastly, it was revealed that Sun and Moon’s time will run 12 hours apart from each other. Sun will run on the actual time set on your 3DS, while Moon is shifted by 12 hours.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will release on November 18 for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS.
