Battleborn’s first DLC Story Operation, Attikus and the Thrall Rebellion, is now available as part of the game’s October update.
The DLC costs $4.99 USD on its own, but it is also a part of the season pass. So if you already purchased the season pass for $19.99 USD, then Attikus and the Thrall Rebellion will show up as a free download. The mission has players fight through the third Thrall uprising while Attikus narrates, recounting his experiences of the conflict.
In addition to the new Story Operation there is also a new mode called Face-Off, a PvP mode that is free for all players. Face-Off is a multi-phase battle where players must fight against both an enemy team of players as well as the invading Varelsi forces. The game is won by killing the Varelsi and collecting the masks that they drop, returning them to the collection point at your base for points. The first team to collect 500 masks wins the game.
Other changes in the update include new skins for Reyna, Deande, Alani, and Pendles, as well as the removal of collision with allied players, allowing friendly character models and bullets to pass through them.
