The Coalition has announced that a couple of multiplayer maps will be released for Gears of War 4 in November.

Two of the most popular Gears of War Legacy Maps will be making their way to Gears of War 4. Checkout and Drydock will be available for Versus Multiplayer and Horde on November 1st for Season Pass holders. The maps will then make their way into free public playlists on November 8th. Checkout and Drydock mark the first month of free maps that are coming to Gears of War 4. The Coalition announced that gamers can expect two new maps to be released every month.

Gears of War 4 is celebrating Halloween with a new game mode called Pumpkin Ball, which is a spin on the game’s Dodgeball mode. The mode sees the return of the Pumpkin Head costume, as well as an increase in bonus experience rewards. Along with the special mode, the Halloween Elite Pack, a variation on the Elite Gear Pack, is also available. The special pack can be purchased on the game’s store page, and will include a guaranteed Epic or Legendary card. The Legendary cards from this exclusive pack come from the Day of the Dead Legendary Collection. The Halloween Elite Pack will be available until November 1st.
