In the new Hearthstone update for October 20th, Blizzard Entertainment has made some changes to the Murloc mirror match and has added new daily quests.
Previously, in a Murloc mirror match, many cards are available that would buff both your minions and your opponents, leading to some quick matches. In the new patch however, the following 4 Murlocs will now only affect friendly minions.
- Grimscale Oracle now reads “Your other Murlocs have +1 Attack.”
- Coldlight Seer now reads “Battlecry: Give your other Murlocs +2 Health.”
- Murloc Tidecaller now reads “Whenever you summon a Murloc, gain +1 Attack.”
- Murloc Warleader now reads “Your other Murlocs have +2/+1.”
These cards are not eligible for a full refund when the patch hits, unlike normal card changes in previous patches.
Also added during the patch are a wide number of new Daily Quests for you to pursue. Things such as using your hero power, playing specific types of minions, and playing a certain class’s cards are now available for more diversity in your daily play.
