In preparation for Halloween, Sony has filled the PlayStation store with spooky games and bundles on sale. Affectionately called “Sale of the Dead,” players can pick up some horror classics and nice indie titles for up to 85% off their original pricing, with PlayStation Plus members receiving even more discounts.
PlayStation is getting into the spirit this year, offering Resident Evil 4 through 6 as a bundle for a measly $41.64. Sony is preparing players for some spooky nights in, and anyone ready to marathon horror classics and new favorites, like Oxenfree, Outlast, and the entirety of The Walking Dead by Telltale, can pick them up at a discounted price. Other highlights include:
- Fatal Frame 1, 2, and 3, horror classics, for only $4.99 each.
- Silent Hill Origins for $4.99
- Slender: The Arrival for $3.49
- Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 for $19.99
As of now they’re offering over 60 titles for varying sale prices, as well as some movies. Games in the sale range from around $2 to around $40, meaning those with even the tightest of purse strings can get something spooky this year. The advertisements for the sale mention ‘Week One,’ so it’s likely that more games will be added before the sale is done.
