Halloween is only a few short days away. On this strange holiday, people dress up as scary monsters, or just their favorite characters in pop culture, and walk around the neighborhood, ringing doorbells in return for some candy. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. If you are going to be walking around all day anyways, you might as well pull out Pokemon Go and take advantage of the special event they have in store.

To help celebrate the spooky season of Halloween, Niantic has announced that from Wednesday, October 26th to Tuesday, November 1st, all of your favorite creepy Pokemon will appear much more often then before. This list includes, Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Goldbat, Drawsee, and Hypno. Seems like a pretty good squad right there.

Besides some scary creatures, Pokemon Go and Halloween have another thing in common. It’s called Candy. During this same time span, players will receive double the amount of candy for each catch, hatch, and transfer. This in turn means they will earn 4 times the candy for Buddy Pokemon. If you want this Halloween to be one for the books, let Pokemon Go help you out. Check out the short teaser by Niantic below for yourself.
