With the release of Titanfall 2 just right around the corner, there are still many questions regarding the release of the PC version of the game.

In a recent Q&A session on the game’s official forum, a comment about the game’s current 144 framerate cap was brought up. The poster asked if there was a reason for the game’s current cap even though modern game’s such as Overwatch have setting that allow players to set their own personal cap, or leave it unlocked.

Respawn entertainment responded by saying, “We can investigate slightly higher framerates, but in initial testing we ran in to some issues with incredibly high framerates.”

Along with other questions pertaining to graphical and gameplay setting, the company also commented on a question regarding the possibility for crossplay between both PC and consoles. When this idea was brought up, Respawn entertainment said, “Titanfall 2 on PC will be releasing on Origin. As much as I personally think cross-platform play would be awesome it unfortunately will not be in the game at this time.” Even though this feature is not in the cards for Titanfall 2, we could see it happen in future titles.

Titanfall 2 is set to release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 28th.
