EA has spoken out on their involvement with Nintendo’s upcoming system, the Switch.

Speaking at the UBS Global Technology Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen stated that the company does have plans to bring one of their games to the console, but are not completely sure the system will be a success.

“We’re excited for Nintendo, it’s an interesting device,” states Jorgensen. “But I can’t yet predict how broad it’s going to be, and [if people will] be interested in a portable device alongside their regular portable device that they have.”

Jorgensen then continued by stating that EA will be bringing one of their bigger games to the Switch.

“In terms of Nintendo, in their announcement they announced that we’ll be supporting with a game or two on that new platform. We haven’t yet announced what game, but you should assume that it’s one of our bigger games we’ve been involved with.”

Earlier this week, the potential UK pricing for the Switch may have been leaked. UK retailer GAME currently has a placeholder price for the system with a notice of “PLEASE NOTE: Until we receive an official price from Nintendo, a temporary price of £199.99 will be given to the Nintendo Switch console.” Rumor has it that GAME will also sell a version of the console with more internal storage and bundled in games for £249.99. Controllers are also being priced at £39.99.

The Nintendo Switch is set to release in March. More details, including the system’s price, software, and release date, will be released this January.
