In this week’s “This week at Bungie”, the company has put up their “This year at Bungie”, to talk about Destiny as a whole in the past and the future.

“The Dawning is how we’ll bring 2016 to a close. It’s been another year of evolution for Destiny and our community.” The Dawning will be Destiny’s last patch of 2016, allowing players and developers alike to spend time with their loved ones without worrying about loot or bugs.

In addition to this small announcement, Bungie asks that those who speak English as a second language check out their localization team and join groups of people who speak their native language to help with the translation of Destiny.

Bungie also awards their “Movie of the week” to a holiday-themed video, with an honorable mention to a speed-drawing of someone and their friends’ characters.

Most importantly though, Bungie has this to say, “Until we talk again, work will continue at Bungie. It always does. Destiny is never finished. We have playtests of new content to share with each other. Each of us has pet projects that get some love and attention when special occasions interrupt the regular flow of development. You’ll see us on the social networks and forums where we stay connected. And of course, there is always a Bungie squad in the building to ensure the game can flow.”

Destiny will keep updating and getting better, with new events and items and more fun things to do. This all comes next year though, as the devs have worked very hard, and are very tired this holiday season.
